  Sometimes people can notice a small sore inside their lips or cheeks. These small sores are mouth ulcers or canker sores that develop and grow within the mouth. They are often found either in white or yellow colour and are surrounded by red, inflamed soft tissue. The real cause behind the occurrence of mouth sores is not found.
